All Occasions are a florist run by a mother-and-daughter partnership in the historic market town of Howden. At All Occasions, Annabel Carr and her mother Barbara Clark offer a superb range of fresh, exotic and stunning artificial flowers, alongside a range of individual gifts and greetings cards.

Barbara's name already precedes her; she is well known in the area for her expertise as a designer florist who creates beautiful bridal bouquets.

Her passion for all things floral began 20 years ago when Barbara attended the Francott Dean School of Floristry in Derbyshire, before going on to gain the Society of Floristry's ICSF, in London. Hundreds of brides have enjoyed Barbara's creations. But every bride is different and that is why she offers a home consultation service to every bride-to-be, to find out about their dress design, colours of choice, and other crucial details. This helps Barbara to get a good idea of what type of flowers and style of bouquet will be fitting for the bride's big day and is an important part of the service.

All Occasions can also supply flowers for the church, reception, marquee and hotel suites, helping to co-ordinate the style in terms of colour and themes. As it's clear from our name, however, weddings aren't the only occasion to celebrate with flowers; birthdays and anniversaries also deserve the very best bouquets. Imported fresh from Holland, with regular deliveries throughout the week, the range of flowers to choose from is simply stunning and covers everything from traditional roses and lilies to some really exotic blooms, such as a Bird of Paradise, Kangaroo Paw, Agapantus and Pineapple fruits.

The treats don't stop there, however, as there's an amazing range of gifts to browse, from aprons to prints to vases, including a lovely selection of handmade glassware by LSA International.

These gifts, which Annabel and Barbara often source at trade fairs, come from all over the country and even from different countries, such as a fantastic Swedish gift set with coasters, placemats and trays. Barbara's flower designing skills are also used to create attractive floral displays combining dried and artificial flowers - a great centrepiece for a dining table or mantelpiece.

You'll enjoy choosing between the individual greetings cards and wrapping paper, and they even stock a range of napkins, all with different and interesting designs.
